Alert! – Individuals Helping Customers Purchase ezbuy Products from 3rd Party Websites

As Singapore’s first and largest overseas shopping platform, we at ezbuy take pride in providing our customers a wide range of products at low prices. That’s why, we have invested a lot in technology, logistics and human resource to ensure customers get the best deals through our trusted and secure platform.

This has unfortunately given rise to a group of individuals and unauthorized 3rd party resellers, claiming to be ezbuy’s employees or resellers. It has come to our attention that these unauthorised resellers tend to ply various online classifieds, forums and social media platforms. We would like to take this opportunity to inform our customers that ezbuy does not authorise any resellers or individuals to seller our products on our behalf. All partnerships would be listed on ezbuy.sg/partners. For clarifications, please contact us via our official channels.

 

HOW TO SPOT THESE UNAUTHORISED RESELLERS

  • THEY USE THE EZBUY BRAND
    They claim that they are selling products on various platforms (such as Carousell, Gumtree & etc.) while using our brand.
  • THEY TRANSACT OUTSIDE THE WEBSITE / APP
    They are asking customers to transfer funds into “ezbuy’s bank accounts” – which are not genuine.
  • THEY CLAIM TO HELP
    Then, they claim to help customers buy items or sell items from ezbuy.

NOTE: ezbuy would not request for any details or transact through 3rd party sites. Do not make any of such fraudulent bank transfers; if you have been asked to do so.

 

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW

  • WE SELL DIRECT
    ezbuy does not resell items on 3rd party websites. That’s how we keep costs low for you.
  • WE TRANSACT DIRECTLY
    All payments should only be transacted on ezbuy’s website  or mobile app. This way, all transactions are automatically linked to your user ID account. When an ATM bank transfer or i-banking transaction is done, please only submit the bank details on ezbuy’s platform as well. Do not provide these confidential details to anyone via unauthorised channels.

I HAVE TRANSFERRED, WHAT’S NEXT?

If you have made a transfer, here’s what you can do:

  • LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT
    If you have made the transfer, you could simply login to your account and follow the steps to notify us of your transfer.
  • SEND US YOUR TRANSFER DETAILS
    You will need to provide your Internet banking transfer details via our website www.ezbuy.sg or mobile app. This can be only be done on your own personal ezbuy account.
  • LET THE EZBUY TEAM HELP YOU
    The ezbuy team will verify your payment. Once payment has been verified, the amount would be credited to your ezbuy account and you can start purchasing items on ezbuy.

Please contact our team immediately if you have received any messages asking for payment transfers and kindly inform us if you have seen websites claiming to sell on behalf of ezbuy.
